TEMECULA VALLEY 2027 MEDICARE GUIDE

Temecula, Murrieta & Menifee Medicare AEP 2027: Start With Your Doctors

If your Medicare plan or medical group is changing for 2027, the first question is whether you can keep seeing the doctors you rely on. A plan notice can be confusing, and a change to one network does not automatically mean every doctor is leaving. Start with your own care team, then decide whether you need to change plans or find a new in-network doctor.

What does your 2027 Medicare notice say?

Read the Annual Notice of Change and any separate letter about a plan ending, a medical group leaving a network or a doctor no longer accepting the plan. Check whether your current plan continues for 2027, changes its network, or is being replaced. If a replacement is automatic, verify that it includes the doctors you want to keep.

A plan, medical group and individual doctor are not always the same network relationship. Don’t assume that a notice about one means you must leave every doctor—or that the doctor you want is still covered. Check the exact plan name and the exact provider.

Can you keep your doctors in Temecula, Murrieta or Menifee?

Make a short list of the primary doctor, specialists and hospitals you most want to continue using. Ask the plan and each doctor’s office whether they expect to accept your exact 2027 plan. Plan availability and provider networks can vary by ZIP code, and finding one doctor in a directory does not confirm the rest of your care team.

If your doctors won’t be in network, what can you do?

During Medicare Annual Enrollment, October 15 through December 7, you can compare and switch Medicare Advantage plans for coverage beginning January 1. Look for an available plan that includes the doctors you want, then verify each one directly before enrolling.

Another possible route is Original Medicare with a Medicare Supplement plan and separate prescription coverage. Medicare Supplement eligibility and guaranteed-issue rights depend on your circumstances, so check whether you can get the coverage before leaving your current plan.

You do not have to sort through the notice and provider lists alone. I can help you understand what is changing, check the doctors you want to keep, look for new in-network doctors if needed, and explain the available coverage options. If you want help, schedule an appointment with me for a personal review.

Riverside County Medicare AEP questions

Quick answers for people reviewing 2027 plan and doctor changes.

Does a medical-group change mean I have to change Medicare plans?

Not necessarily. Check whether your exact plan still includes the doctors and facilities you use. A medical-group or network notice does not by itself tell you what to do with your coverage.

When can I change my Medicare Advantage plan for 2027?

Medicare Annual Enrollment runs October 15 through December 7. Changes made during this period generally begin January 1, as long as the plan receives the enrollment request by December 7.

Can I choose Original Medicare and a Medicare Supplement instead?

That may be an option. You may also need separate prescription drug coverage. Medicare Supplement eligibility and guaranteed-issue rights depend on your situation, so check before dropping your current plan.

Can Franco help me find doctors who take another plan?

Yes. Franco can help check the doctors you want to keep, look for new in-network doctors if needed, explain plan changes and review available coverage options with you.

Does it cost anything to get help from Franco?

There is no separate cost to you for Franco’s help. If you enroll through him and a policy is issued, the insurance carrier pays him.
