START WITH THE PEOPLE YOU PROTECT

What would your family need if your income stopped?

The right starting point is not a policy name. It is the people and obligations the coverage would need to protect.

  • A mortgage, rent or other housing costs
  • Income replacement while children or a partner adjust
  • Funeral, burial or cremation expenses
  • Debts, final bills or a small emergency cushion
  • A legacy or gift you want to leave behind

Two ways to think about life insurance

Most life insurance fits into one of two broad categories. The right direction depends on whether the need is temporary, lifelong, or focused on final expenses.

Temporary coverage

Usually term life insurance: protection for a chosen period, often used for income replacement, a mortgage or years when children depend on your paycheck. It can provide a larger benefit for a defined need.

Permanent coverage

Designed for a long-term or lifetime need. Whole life, universal life, indexed universal life (IUL) and final expense are examples. Permanent policies still need premiums or adequate policy value to keep coverage in force.

A CLEARER WAY TO COMPARE

How we choose a direction

  1. Start with the people, bills and time period the coverage would need to protect.

  2. Separate a temporary income-replacement need from a lifelong or final-expense need.

  3. Review the budget, health history and underwriting questions that can affect eligibility and cost.

  4. Compare the available options and leave you with a clear recommendation you can accept, change or decline.

FOR NEW PROSPECTS

Want an initial life insurance estimate?

FOR CURRENT CLIENTS

Already have life insurance?

A review does not automatically mean replacing what you own. Bring the policy, annual statement or beneficiary information and we can look for gaps, outdated amounts, premium changes or coverage that no longer matches your family.

For an existing-client review, schedule a call and tell me you already have coverage. I can use the conversation to decide what information is actually needed before asking you to complete an application or intake form.

Life Insurance Questions

Clear answers to the questions people usually have before requesting a quote or review.

How much life insurance do I need?

It depends on the people and obligations you want to protect: income, housing, debts, education, final expenses and the length of time your family would need help. A needs-based conversation is more useful than choosing a number from a generic rule of thumb.

Is term or whole life better?

Neither is automatically better. Term is often designed around a temporary need, while whole life is permanent coverage with different costs and features. The useful comparison starts with the problem you want the policy to solve and what you can comfortably maintain.

Can I get coverage if I have health conditions?

Possibly. Eligibility and pricing depend on the condition, treatment, medications, age and the carrier's underwriting rules. A quote tool can provide an estimate, but the application and underwriting decision determine the final offer.

Should existing clients use the online quote tool?

Existing clients usually benefit from a review first so we can understand what they already own, what has changed and whether a new quote is even necessary. New prospects can use the quote tool for an initial estimate and then bring the result to a conversation.

Does requesting a quote obligate me to buy?

No. A quote is an estimate for comparison. You can ask questions, change the amount, choose a different direction or decide that no new coverage is right for you.
